Ms. Phyllis McCovery is the Assistant to the Bishop.
She was raised in
Southern California, but is a native of Moss Point,
Miss. She is the proud
mother of four and grandmother of two, Derrick
Joshua and Aniyah Denise. Ms.
McCovery brings over 20 years of administrative
experience to NHCI. Her
favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), For I
know the plans I have for
you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future.
